Everest base camp trek
Everest Base Camp trek has drawn adventurers since Mount Everest was first surveyed
in the late 19th century. Mt Everest known as 'Sagarmatha' in Nepal and 'Chomolungma' in Tibet
is popular dream destination among all adventure lovers. Everest Base Camp trekking is slightly
demanding and requires a fair level of fitness before you begin. Most of the trail lies at the altitude
over 3 000m, it is also essential that you trek slowly to avoid the possibility of AMS.

Annapurna Region http//:www.nepalguidetrekking.com is main popular trekking/hiking destinations in Nepal. Mount Annapurna range and the settlements of ethnic Gurung, Thakali, Ghale and Magar people and their cutlure are the main attractions of this area. One of the classic and most rewarding treks in Nepal and probable in this planet, offering grand view of the three highest 8000m mountain range Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri Mt. Manaslu including arrays of over 6000m snow capped peaks. The trek leads towards glacial lake in Manang, through the rural farm villages and terraced farm fields from the sub-tropic climate to the arctic landscape and through the rain forest to the alpine woodlands.
Annapurna Conservation Area http://www.nepalguidetrekking.com is located in this region is home to the some of the endangered species such as Musk Deer, Blue Sheep, and many species of bird such as the multi-colored Impeyan, Kokla, Blood pheasant among multitude of other birds. The conservation area has 100 varieties of orchids and some of the richest temperate rhododendron forest in the world. Further, north lives the Manang people of Tibetan origin. Our trek follows the Yak country and finally over to the Thorung-la, 5416m pass with amazing views of the surrounding landscapes and magnificent peaks. After the strenuous walk up to the top of Thorang-la we reach the highest point of this trek.series and panoramic views of beautiful mountain attracts the traveler from all other the world .
Annapurna Base Camp Trek-4100mhttp//:www.nepalguidetrekking.com .It is also known as Annapurna Base camp trek, this two weeks program affords a fine opportunity to surround oneself with major Himalayan peaks, in a relatively short span of time, without having to contend with extreme altitudes. The trail goes northwest from Pokhara and along the Modi Khola directly north right into a natural amphitheater of high mountains with 360-degree views of Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III (7555m), Gangapurna (7454m) and Macchapuchhre (6993m). This trek, within its short duration, provides an interesting variety of climates, vegetation and terrain - from lowland subtropical villages growing rice to alpine vegetation closer to the pass and into the sanctuary where access could be difficult in mid-winter because of snow.
Highlights of the Trekking

Annapurna base camp Trekking, hiking
The Annapurna Sanctuary is “high glacial basin lying forty km directly north of Pokhara. This oval-shaped plateau sits at an altitude of over 4000 meters, and is surrounded by a ring of mountains, the Annapurna range, most of which are over 7000 metres. With the only entrance a narrow pass between the peaks of Hiunchuli and Machapuchare, where run-off from glaciers drain into Modi Khola River, the Sanctuary was not penetrated by outsiders until 1956. Because of high mountains on all sides, the Annapurna Sanctuary receives only 7 hours of sunlight a day at the height of summer. The unique combination of heights and depths in the Annapurna Sanctuary give rise to an extraordinary variety of ecosystems. The south-facing slopes are “covered in dense tropical jungles of rhododendron and bamboo”, while the north-facing slopes, in the rain shadow, have “a drier colder climate similar to that of the near-by Tibetan Plateau.”
The entire sanctuary was held as sacred to the Gurung people, one of the many native people to inhabit the area. They believed it was the repository of gold and various treasures left by the Nāgas, the serpent-gods known in India. The sanctuary was believed to be the home of several deities, from Hinduism and Buddhism as well the older animistic gods. The peak of Machapuchare at the entrance was believed to be the home of the god Shiva, and the daily plumes of snow were thought the smoke of his divine incense. Until recently, the local Gurung people forbade anyone from bringing eggs or meat into the Annapurna Sanctuary, and women and untouchables were prohibited from going there as well.
In recent years, the number of trekkers to the Sanctuary has increased substantially, in part because the Sanctuary forms the base of one of the major routes to the peaks of the Annapurna range. The Annapurna Sanctuary is now part of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, which places restrictions on number of outside travelers, gathering of firewood, and domestic animal grazing.
